PARENT ACTIVITY COMMITTEE (PAC)

IMG_0839.JPG

The QPCA Parent Activity Committee (PAC) encourages parent participation in a variety of school sponsored functions during the year. We believe that parent engagement increases active participation, communication and collaboration between parents and the school.

Why volunteer? Parent volunteers are a valued resource and support base for the school community. Volunteering demonstrates to our children the importance of contributing to our community. The school will surely reap the benefits of your involvement, and so will you. By interacting with teachers, administrators and other parents on a regular basis, you’ll gain a firsthand understanding of your child’s daily activities.

There are many ways to volunteer. Even if you are unable to attend school-time events, there are plenty of opportunities to offer your time and talent. You can contribute on your own time with things such as sending in classroom items, providing party supplies or baking for staff. There are volunteer opportunities for everyone. The PAC welcomes grandparents and immediate family members to participate too!
